MUN Partners with University of Cyberjaya to Support Precision in Practice: SurgMed Summit
Kuala Lumpur, 21 July 2025 – MUN partnered with the University of Cyberjaya in support of the Precision in Practice: SurgMed Summit (PIPSS), where it served as Platinum Sponsor. Hosted by the University of Cyberjaya and the Medical Undergraduates Society (MUGS), the summit brought together over a hundred medical students and junior doctors from across Malaysia to refine clinical skills, exchange knowledge, and engage with experienced healthcare practitioners.
Themed “Innovating the Future of Healthcare: Bridging Expertise, Precision, and Practice in Surgery & Medicine,” the two-day summit offered an immersive learning experience focused on hands-on training, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
Through this partnership, MUN, in conjunction with Hartalega, supported the summit both financially and by supplying GloveON COATS? biodegradable gloves and surgical gloves used during practical workshops. These resources helped ensure participants could safely engage in hands-on training designed to prepare them for real-world clinical decision-making.
“Supporting initiatives like PIPSS reflects our commitment to advancing healthcare through collaboration and education,” said Saam Lee, Director at MUN. “By working together with academic institutions and industry partners, we hope to help equip future healthcare professionals with the practical skills and confidence they need as they enter clinical practice.”
By supporting initiatives such as PIPSS, MUN continues to foster collaboration between industry and academia while contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
MUN remains committed to partnerships that strengthen medical education and help equip the next generation of healthcare professionals with the skills, confidence, and precision needed in modern clinical practice.
